DEQ awards drinking water planning grant to the Remington Recreational Water and Sewer District, Kootenai County

BOISE — The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) today announced the award of a drinking water planning grant for $15,000 to the Remington Recreational Water and Sewer District in Kootenai County.
The funds will be used to prepare a drinking water planning study and environmental review. The purpose of the project is to evaluate the water system’s deficiencies and identify necessary improvements.
The total eligible cost of the project is $60,800. The remaining $45,800 will be funded by the Remington Recreational Water and Sewer District.
